Maine Food and Beverage Education Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit registered in the state of Maine. We aim to serve as a bridge between Maine's food producers and its public. How? By offering meaningful, educational ways for the public to encounter and connect with Maine's diverse food producers. Simply put, we are a community and public resource working to create economic impact within Maine's food communities.

Sustainable, thriving food systems require a nuanced understanding of stakeholders and stakes: to this end, we provide educational opportunities that bring to the surface the rich narratives to be found within the Maine food system.

 

Where are we going? One day, we'd like to be the foremost public food education resource and food tourism destination (through our Maine Tasting Center campus) in Maine - your visitors center for all things Maine food and drink.
